St George, UT - On the afternoon of March 16, 2024, Jennie Lavena Flemons Hadden of St. George, Utah, left this world to be reunited with loved ones on the other side.  She was born to Rolland B. Flemons and Zulia May Greenhood on August 15, 1929, in Trinidad, Colorado.  She attended school and lived her childhood in Pueblo, Colorado.

Jennie married Rex W. Hadden on August 21, 1946, in Pueblo, Colorado after Rex completed his service with the U.S. Navy.  Their marriage was solemnized in 1949 in the Salt Lake City Temple.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving three missions with her husband, Rex.

While raising her family of four she also worked as secretary to the Superintendent of Park County Schools in Powell, Wyoming.

After raising their family in Powell, Rex and Jennie also resided in Cheyenne, Thermopolis and Cody, Wyoming for short periods of time with Rex working for the telephone company. Lastly, they retired to St. George, Utah in 1996, where they built a beautiful home and spent their last years.

Jennie is preceded in death by her husband, Rex; her parents; brothers: Rolland Flemons and John Flemons; and sister, Zuliabell Blackwell.

She is survived by her children: Dan (Jane) Hadden of Powell, Wyoming, Pat Wilkins of Queen Creek, Arizona, Rusty Hadden of St. George, Utah and Annette Eccles of Renton, Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
