Hurricane, Utah - After a heroic and determined battle with leukemia, Jeremy James Green, 44, passed away February 17, 2016.  He was born in Ogden, Utah to Rodney L. and Kathleen H. Green on August 23, 1971.

After spending his growing-up years in Layton, Utah and graduating from Layton High School, Jeremy married his love and companion, Bobette Schneiter on May 22, 1992 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. This was definitely a match made in heaven and they had three wonderful children.

After continued education, Jeremy and family lived in Roy, Utah for a time and then moved to his beloved Hurricane, where he eventually established his own successful business, Ridgeline HVAC. He was able to share his working knowledge with others by teaching briefly at Dixie College.

Jeremy was happy for the many opportunities his town afforded him for the outdoor activities that he loved so much. Through these activities and in other areas he taught and touched the lives of many young men.

He loved scouting and spent many hours camping and sharing his skills. He loved hunting and shared many fun excursions with his sons, friends and family.

He was involved in his community and always loved participating in local events. He made many life-long friends and helped many through his service.

Jeremy is a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He never waivered from his testimony and love of his God and inspired many with his example. He will be missed and remembered by countless.

Jeremy is survived by his devoted wife, Bobette; three children, Jessica, Cameron and Wesley; his mother and father; siblings, Jason Green, Jay (Melissa) Green and Jilynn (Jason) Parkhurst. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by a brother, Joel Green.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage LDS Chapel, 1178 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. Visitations will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street and on Monday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel.  Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery.
