Obituary

"Live, Laugh, Love"LEEDS, UTAH - Jerrica Christensen, 20, died December 11, 2010 in St. George, Utah. She was born February 5, 1990 in Cedar City, Utah. She is the daughter of Elvin and Ellen Reeves Hensley and Stuart A. Christensen. Jerrica lived in Kanarraville, Utah, Bullhead City, Arizona, Laughlin, Nevada and Leeds. She attended Pine View High School, where she had many friends. She loved everything about dance and dancing. She enjoyed being in the outdoors and riding ATVs with her sister. Jerrica was talented in many ways. She was planning to pursue a career in hairdressing and was obsessed with her hair and toenails. She also had an interest in entering the medical field as a C.N.A. She was recently employed as an office clerk at the Dunn Law Firm in St. George. Her family and friends meant everything to her and she became an avid textaholic staying in touch with them. Jerrica was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is dearly loved by her family. She had many challenges in her life that she had recently overcame. She found joy and hope in the scriptures, with her favorite scripture found in D & C Section 64. She found support and love in those who entered her life. She especially found reassurance in her knowledge of Christs Atonement. She frequently was heard telling her family to not assume things and that people are better on the inside than they seem on the outside. Our dear Jerrica is at peace. She is survived by her parents, Elvin and Ellen Reeves Hensley of Leeds and Stuart A. Christensen of Cedar City; her sister, Kimberly (Matthew) Millsap of LaVerkin, Utah; three step-brothers, Jeffrey Hensley of Brownfield, Texas, Tim Hensley of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Chris (Cathi) Hensley of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one step-sister, Jennifer (Mark) Hill of Sulphur Springs, Texas; her grandfather, Clayton Reeves of Kanarraville. She was preceded in death by her brother, Blair Colton Christensen; her grandparents, Shirlee Reeves, JC and Mada Hensley and Maynard and Maida Christensen.
