Jerry Ray Croft passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 8, 2012, after a long illness. His wife and best friend, Dorothy, was by his side. Jerry was born on June 14, 1931 in Martin, Tennessee to Raymond Croft and Evelyn Josephine Holladay. Jerry served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He later worked in various transportation services before retiring to the St. George area. he was a kind, loving and generous person who will be deeply missed and remembered for those qualities. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Clark, daughters: Sandra (Ron) McCormick and Deborah Croft, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, his sister Virginia and his brother Donald. Special thanks go to the Alliance Home Health and Hospice staff and to the various medical personnel and facilities that served his so well. Following cremation his remains will be placed in the Washington City cemetery with a graveside service being held at that time.
