Jesse Lawrence Lemmon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at The Haven Assisted Living Facility at Sky Mountain in Hurricane, Utah, at the age of 83.

Jesse was born on December 12, 1942, in Heber City, Utah to Frank Eldon Lemmon and Donna Giles. He was raised in Hurricane, Utah, where he spent his early years surrounded by family, friends, and the beautiful red-rock country he called home. Later in life, Jesse moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he made construction his profession and built many of the hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. He loved playing music on his guitars, and he was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Argentine soccer teams.

Jesse will be remembered for the life he shared with those who loved him and for the many memories he created throughout his 83 years. Above all, he was a cherished husband and a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah, as well as His children Frank (Val), Deborah, Michael (Amy), Holly (Ian), Richard, Daniel and JC and his 15 amazing grandchildren. Also his brother Robert (Claudia) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jesse’s life touched many people, and his memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 642 North 2850 West, Hurricane, UT. A visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at the chapel prior to services. Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery, 225 E. 600 N. Hurricane UT 84737. 

A luncheon will be served after the graveside service for those who would like to return to the church. Please join us for lunch to share stories and celebrate the life of Jesse.
