St. George, UT - On April 29, 2012, Joy joined her husband Elwin C. Dickson, (died 2006), and her daughter Ila Mae Gaydos-Dickson, (died 2004), in heavenly peace. She died surrounded by those she loved, who had cared for her since she moved to St. George, UT from Brigham City, UT in 2006: Jean Dickson-Hymas (daughter), Melody Joy Dickson (granddaughter) and Rodger Hymas (son-in-law). She was born on January 9, 1926 in Bear River, CO to Clara Walsh and Charles Colett. She also leaves behind granddaughters Linda Vinson & Patience Gaydos, brother Jack Thompson and sister Sara Taylor and many friends who loved and enjoyed her sweet personality.
