Jillian Amanda
Miller
July 25, 2001 – August 23, 2019
Jillian Amanda Miller, 18, returned home to her Heavenly Father, August 23, 2019, in St. George, Utah. She was born July 25, 2001 in St. George, Utah to Perry Miller and Darece Hughes Miller.
Jillian was the brightest ray of sunshine anyone could have ever know. Her big beautiful smile and radiant spirit would light up any room and any person she came into contact with. She loved being around people, especially children and younger people closer to her age. She loved the noise of the children where ever she was. Going to school was such a highlight for her in life. She loved riding the bus and the bumpier the ride was, the bigger her smile and the louder she laughed.
Jillian loved music. It was a part of nearly every day. She was blessed to have so many loving and caring people: teachers, classroom paras, bus drivers and bus paras, friends in school who loved and adored her dearly, primary teachers, young women adviser's, innumerable doctors and nurses, and friends and family. She not only touched the lives of many, but was blessed greatly by those who loved and cared for her as well.
Jillian endured many health issues during her life, but she was a warrior and fighter and out lived all expectations regarding her lifespan. She was a perfect example of patience, pure love, and the sweetest joy anyone could ever encounter. She touched the lives of more people than we could ever even known. The loss of her light here on earth has been deeply heavy. She is missed beyond measure and we all look forward to the day we are reunited with her perfect spirit.
Jillian is survived by her mother, Darece Miller of Hurricane; her father, Perry Miller of St. George; two sisters: Rian Miller of Hurricane, and Brenna Miller of St. George; grandparents: Linda Barnum Schmidt of Mesquite, NV, Larry Hughes of Crawford, CO, Rhea Stevens of St. George, Utah, and Newell "Butch" Miller of Proberta, CA, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Fred Schmidt and uncle, Derek Hughes, both of Mesquite, NV.
