Hurricane, Utah - Jim Pantel Hicklin passed away December 3, 2011 in his home in Hurricane, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Bertha Hicklin and one brother, Richard Hicklin.

Jim is survived by his wife, Judi Hicklin of Pleasanton, CA; step-son, Lee Burnham of Concord, CA; son, Dave Hicklin of Texas; son, Tom Hicklin of Los Angeles, CA; and brothers, Ron Hicklin and Ray Hicklin of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Jim was born in Burlington, Iowa and attended Iowa State University. He enjoyed a long career as a Quality Control Manager, first with the Apollo Space Program for many years. He retired from Systron Donnor Corp in Concord, CA as Director of Quality Assurance, after a long career and moved to Hurricane, Utah.

Jim was an excellent semi-professional photographer and received many awards for his images of a variety of beautiful landscapes throughout the United States. His work was published in several photographic publications.
