Joan Marie Pinnock lived 83 wonderful years, passing away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 now joining her husband H. Wayne. She leaves behind numerous loved ones she saw as her own children and grandchildren.

From playing hockey with the boys to working for The Library of Congress she was a woman with determination that never liked to be told no. Joan was best known for her astoundingly meticulous seamstress skills and mouthwatering cooking.

She has spent her late life knitting prayer shawls for the ill, scrapbooking for her granddaughters, or swinging out back with Little Bits and Muffy at her feet. You could always find Joan in a playful sweater and draped with jewelry.

Those who knew her are left with memories of kindness, perfection, and charity.

Please join us celebrating her life in West Valley City, Utah on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. for the viewing, service to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Valley View Mortuary, 4335 West 4100 South.

Graveside services will be held in Hurricane, Utah on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hurricane City Cemetery, 225 East 600 North.
