Obituary

John Victor Vic Brower St. George, UT - John Victor Vic Brower, 96, passed away December 14, 2010 in St. George, Utah. He was born in Parker, Idaho on September 4, 1914 to George H. and Mary Crapo Brower. A retired Court Reporter, Vic lived in Las Vegas from 1946 to 1978, working in the Clark County District Courts and in private business before retiring to St. George. A decorated World War II Veteran, he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for his bravery in Europe in 1944. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Beulah May. He is survived by his sisters, Olive Bybee and Elaine Jensen and his sons; Victor of Mesquite, Nevada, John of St. George, Utah and his daughter, Margaret Sue (Ross) Higgins of Monroe, Utah, nine grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Vic will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the St. George City Cemetery.
