HURRICANE, UTAH - Jon Christy Mollenkopf, 56, of Hurricane, Utah, former resident of Ohio, died unexpectedly on July 2, 2010. He was born August 19, 1953 in Elyria, Ohio to Earl and Lillian Johnston Mollenkopf. Jon was a member of the Emanual Lutheran Church in Coshocton, Ohio. He graduated from Ridgewood High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 to 1984. He was employed at BD Systems, Inc. in Hurricane as an electronics worker. Jon was preceded in death by his brother, Alan and his father, Earl. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Mollenkopf and his sister, Susan, both of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Cremation has taken place.
