St. George, UT - Joseph Gaylord Andreasen, 87, died February 4, 2011 at his residence in St. George. He was born February 23, 1924 in Soda Springs, ID to Andrew Lorenzo Andreasen and Myrtle Estelle Gibbs. He married Lucille White. They later divorced. Joseph is survived by his children: Christina and Andy; brothers: Willard and Richard; sisters: Carol and Natalia; 9 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St. George, UT. A visitation will be held from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to services at the chapel. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221. Another funeral service will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at the L.D.S. Church in Shoshone, ID at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Shoshone Cemetery.
