St. George, Utah - Joseph Frederick Arbogast passed away March 4, 2011. He was born March 9, 1920 in Beavertown, PA to Merrill H. Arbogast and Esther Bingman Arbogast. He married Eleanor M. Arbogast in New Orleans on July 12, 1943 and celebrated 67 years of marriage. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He graduated in 1942 from Leigh University with a Chemical Engineering degree, with an additional three years of education through the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Arbogast (Lew) Reeves; granddaughter: Tiffany Carm-El (Steven) Tibbs; and great-granddaughters: Ashley Carm-El Tibbs and Brittany Laine Tibbs. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Eleanor. Interment will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
