St. George, Utah - Joseph E. Kunsch Sr., 74, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2014. He was born on July 24, 1939 in Omaha, NE to Charles Henry Kunsch and Hazel M. Ellis Kunsch. He is survived by his wife, Karolyn Kunsch (sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple); and children: Kathy Kunsch Ashley, Joseph E. Kunsch Jr., Vikki Solms, and Kay Connollly (Tom Connolly).

He was an outstanding member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved helping others and giving back to the community. He volunteered with Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed doing community service. He was constantly helping and advising others on anything from yard work to mechanical issues.

He was always active and loved talking to others. He was fanatical about hot rods!

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing at 9:30 a.m., at the Little Valley LDS 1 ^st Ward Chapel, 2668 East Crimson Ridge Drive, St. George, UT. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
