IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joshua Blair
Warden
June 26, 1978 – January 13, 2023
St. George, UT – Joshua Blair Warden, 44, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2023. He was born on June 26, 1978, in Bountiful, Utah to Tana and Daryl Warden. Josh married Jamie Bee on December 29, 2001 in the St. George Temple and had three wonderful children: Andrew, Lexi and Asher. They later divorced but never stopped caring about each other.
Upon meeting Josh, you could never forget him. He was a gentle giant who loved everyone and judged no one. From the time he was a toddler he would walk up to anyone that he met and introduce himself and make friends. When Josh was 15 years old, his family moved to St. George, UT and because of Josh's stature, the football coach insisted that he join the team. Throughout his years at Dixie High School, Josh played football and wrestled and made countless friends. He served faithfully as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Raleigh, North Carolina mission. Josh loved children and so he chose to become an elementary school teacher and secured a Bachelor's and Master's degree to do so. This brought him so much joy. Last year, Josh embarked on a new adventure in Sales. His team at YESCO were so good to him and he was looking forward to personal growth and success in his new career. Josh loved Jamie and his children deeply, his friends and family and the Green Bay Packers!
Josh is survived by his ex-wife Jamie; children: Andrew, Lexi and Asher; parents: Daryl and Tana; siblings: Trista Walker, Joel Warden and Eric Warden; and 18 nieces and nephews that loved him.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 2 pm in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 591 West 500 North, St. George, UT 84770. There will not be a viewing preceding the funeral. A private family interment and dedication of the grave will take place at a later date at Tonaquint Cemetery.
