St. George, Utah - Joyce Karan Hardy Eaton,78, passed away August 28, 2013. She was born December 1, 1934 in Tuscon, Arizona to Charley and Verna Nelson Hardy. She married Royal Doxey Eaton November 23, 1955 in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple.

Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved being with her family. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in her callings. She loved her musical callings the most.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Doxey; children: Deanna (John) Petaishiski, Karan (Woody) Taylor, Duane (Trish) Eaton and David (Rosemarie) Eaton; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister and five brothers, all of Arizona.

Funeral services will beheld Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., with a viewing at 9:00 a.m., at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
