St. George, Utah - Karl Died September 1, 2022, in St. George, UT. He was born October 5, 1968, in Hancock, New York where he grew up and spent several years of his life. Karl married Stacey Esolen, later divorced. He moved to St. George, UT and married Michelle Knudson. They were married for over 10 years, later divorced.

Karl was a talented musician and song writer. His stage name was Karl Withakay. He performed at many city events, the farmers market and several fine dining restaurants. He was a member of SUSWA, Southern Utah Song Writers Association for several years.

Karl served in the Navy and was proud to be a Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenneth. He is survived by his sister, Karen (Esolen) Baldwin and her two adult children of New York; two nephews of New York; son, Noah Esolen of New York; and stepmother, Sally Esolen of Florida.

Karl will be greatly missed. He did not want a funeral so there will be no services. In honor of him, please sing or play a song in his name.
