IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Karma King
Bott
March 19, 1948 – February 9, 2025
Karma King "Mimi" Bott, 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on February 9, 2025. She was born on March 19, 1948, in Salt Lake City to Elvin and Leola King. She was raised by Reed and Rose Baxter in Bountiful. She married Thomas Jon Bott on June 2, 1967, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had four children: Jeffrey, Richard (Darcie), Sheri Fojtek (Mark) and Bradley (Carrie); 12 grandchildren: Brittani, Courtney, Jayden, McKenna, Brandon, Holden, Corinne, Kate, Brooke, Talia, Ella and Ryder; and five great-grandchildren: Oliver, Claire, Avalyn, Georgiana and Boston.
Karma graduated from Viewmont High in 1966. She attended Weber State College and worked for the Farmers Home Administration and as a candy striper at Dee Hospital in Ogden. Later in life she worked for the Ogden Hilton, Sandy's Fine Foods, Good Health and as a pre-school teacher at Critchlow's Little Red School House in South Ogden.
Karma enjoyed gardening, traveling, antique shopping, listening to inspirational music and visiting with her many friends; but nothing was more important to her than her family. She was happiest when her children and grandchildren came to visit or when she went to visit them.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, five brothers: Dennis King, Brent Baxter, Kelly Baxter, Don Baxter and Stewart Baxter; and two sisters: Beverly Macfarlane and Cathy Bates.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Valley View 2nd Ward Chapel, 511 South Valley Drive, St. George. A graveside service for family members will follow at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
