Washington City, UT – Kathleen, 75, passed away June 27, 2022, peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family. She was born in Caldwell, Idaho on March 9, 1947, to John Fredrick Gibson and Lizzy Ellen Farr.

Kathy married the love of her life, Dennis Banks on June 24, 1978, in St George, Utah. They settled in Washington, Utah in 1979. Together they had eight children, John, Julie, Rossi, Kizzy, Zac, Amber, Ben, and Katie. A blended family built on unconditional love, understanding, compromise, laughter, joy, kindness, and acceptance.

Kathy was the definition of love. It was shared with everyone she met. Always choosing to see the good in others, even on days you had to look a little harder. She will be remembered for her enormous heart, her warm smile, her big hugs, her kind words, and her ability to make everyone feel as though they were her favorite.

Her amazing legacy lives on with her always and forever, Dennis, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her fur babies.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that you spread her love and light in the form of an act of kindness.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Banks Home, Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
