IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathleen Printha
Johnson Fisher
May 7, 1942 – April 20, 2022
St. George, Utah - Kathleen "Grams" Printha Johnson Fisher passed peacefully surrounded by family in the evening hours of April 20, 2022.
Kathy was born May 7, 1942, in Standardville, Utah. Daughter of Nola Udale (Stewart) Johnson and Buster J. Johnson. The oldest of 7 children she was always the best little mother to all her siblings. They were raised in Sandy Utah where she attended Jordan High School and was a proud Beetdigger. After high school she was able to move to California for a summer and live with her aunts, she had fond memories of her time there looking at all the convertible cars and movie stars. When she returned home, she became a mother raising her children in her hometown. She was also an avid bowler winning many trophies. She was always such a caring and loving person helping raise many generations of children. But becoming a Grams was one of the proudest moments of her life. In 1982 the family relocated to St. George where she later met and married Jim Fisher on January 5, 1990. They spent many years at their property in the Mountain Meadows. In 2003 she became a Great Grandmother a title she held so proudly. She watched her great grandchildren until they went into elementary school something most families never get to experience. She will be remembered fondly as The Grams not only to her own family but to many others she made family. Her house was always decorated for every holiday her favorite being Christmas. We would swear you could see her lights from space. She was a lover of family, friends, Facebook and Nascar. Go Tony! We don't know what we will do without our many check-ins through the day.
We would like to thank all the many doctors, nurses and medical personnel that took such great care of her during the last months of her life. A special thank you to Des, you hold a special place in our hearts.
She is survived by her daughters: Wendi (Cody) Mangum, Marty Davis; son, Ted Johnston; siblings: Nolan (Kandi) Johnson, LaVee (Ken) Marlar, Sherrie (Billy) Ross, Rex (Joyce) Johnson, Gwen (Neal) Jenkins, Royce (Georgie) Johnson; four grandchildren: Britani (Kyle), Anthony (Marina), Brenna, Brett; three great grandchildren: Terron, Hayden, Mia; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and adopted family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Fisher; parents, Udale and Buster Johnson; great granddaughter, Marley Meadows
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 2pm at her granddaughter's residence.
Donations can be made in her honor to Intermountain Homecare and Hospice.
