St. George, UT - Kathryn "Katie" McKelleb, 78, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at home. She was born May 13, 1937, in Fleming County, Kentucky. She married David E. McKelleb in Gas City, Indiana, on December 11, 1955, and they were later sealed in the LDS Manti Temple on August 15, 1968. Katie adored children and taught primary for the LDS Church for 19 years. She also served as a librarian and enjoyed helping others. She loved visiting the Temple and found peace within its walls. She tirelessly served her family and will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her husband, David, and six of her seven children: Tammy, Melinda (John), Cindy, David (Susie), Michael, and Stephanie, 24 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Jackie and her dear grandson Matthew.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Westridge (Sunset) Chapel, 415 Westridge Drive, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be one hour before services. Interment will be in Tonaquint Cemetery.
