Virgin, Utah - Kathy Ann Canto Zobell, 75, December 6, 2025, born on August 15, 1950, in Provo, Utah to Jack Canto and Norma Miller Canto. She married Neldon Zobell.

Our sweet Kathy loved being known as Aunt Kathy to everyone. She lived most of her life in Utah County but moved to Virgin and lived there for the past five years. She retired from the Utah County Sheriff Department after 30 years. Her hobbies included knitting, playing and winning at games (mostly Rummy), collecting little things, traveling, but most of all she loved her furry friends. She is survived by 5 dogs (PollyAna, Stan Lee, Adolph, Winston, and Little Greta. She was much loved by all her family and friends who knew her.

She is survived by her 2 nieces, Toy Canto and Christina Canto Rawlings (Danny) and 4 great nephews, Clancy Canto, Jordan, Noah, and Max Rawlings. She was preceded in death by and elated to join her parents, her husband, and her brothers, Jackie and Ron.

It was her wish to have no ceremony or services. No services are planned. Please find some time to pay tribute to sweet Aunt Kathy in your own way by having a delicious Italian meal, or knocking back a really dirty martini, or getting a pretty manicure or donating to a wonderful animal shelter, or …

Thank you to all the wonderful helpers at St George Regional Hospital and Hurricane Rehab Center. Thanks to all the wonderful people in her life for surrounding her with care and love especially Patrick, Greg, and Matt.

Most of her ashes will join her husband and her family at the Evergreen Cemetery. The rest are entrusted to go to places that she loved and visited throughout her life. So, look for some fairy dust wherever you have a great memory of Kathy because she may already be there.
