IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathy Dawn
Wilber
June 13, 1953 – January 17, 2025
Kathy Dawn Wilber passed away on January 17, 2025, at the Utah St. George Regional Hospital surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Kathy was born on June 13, 1953, in Salt Lake City, UT. In 1988, Kathy married Bradley Martin. The following year, they had a son, David Carl Martin. Kathy later divorced Bradley, then remarried Randy R. Wilber, in Phoenix AZ, on May 15th, 1997. Kathy spent the next 22 years with Randy, until his passing in 2019.
Kathy was a faithful wife to Randy, an amazing sister to her siblings Kairle Wright and Kent R. Rindfleisch, and an amazing mother who had a big heart for her son David Martin. Kathy loved doing everything with David when she could. She took great pride in her son, always encouraging him, and celebrating his successes. Kathy, Randy, and David went on many trucking trips together and made so many fond, loving memories. For many years, Kathy would continue to talk and laugh about those fun memories. Kathy was a one-of-a-kind mother that you couldn't find anywhere else.
Kathy loved to clean and took pride in having a tidy home. She was such a dedicated housekeeper, she would clean all day and night until it was done just right. Kathy held several jobs growing up, from a server to a bus driver, to a nurse. She loved working and became passionate in her various roles. She especially enjoyed the jobs that involved helping those who couldn't help themselves. Helping others brought her joy. She would go to great lengths to ensure those who needed help got what they needed, even if it meant getting into trouble.
She tried hard to please others and be friends with everyone. She had a huge heart for all people but had an even bigger heart for animals of all kinds. Kathy and her sister Kairle had a phenomenal relationship and knew each other inside and out. Kathy and Kairle enjoyed many long talks at night, reminiscing about the good old days, and talking about their loved ones. They loved each other very much. They were the best of friends and could always count on each other.
Kathy had such a big, kind heart and was always willing to make the room for anyone to be in it. That was Kathy Wilber.
Kathy is survived by her son David, her two siblings, her nephews, and her nieces.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Clearance Rindfleisch and her husband Randy.
The family would like to take a moment to thank the Mesquite Hospital for their quick actions and the St. George Regional Hospital
