Las Vegas, NV / Springville, UT - Kay Wesley Mendenhall passed away February 3, 2012. He was born December 1, 1921 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Wesley Deal and Geneve Harmer Mendenhall. He married Kathlyne Metcalf in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 8, 1942.

In 1961, Kay and his family moved to Las Vegas, NV. He worked in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Supervisor. He enjoyed rock collecting, flying and playing golf.

Kay is survived by his wife, Kathlyne; sons: Tony Mendenhall of Vaughn, WA and Mike Mendenhall of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and siblings: Connie (Phil) Curtis of Springville and Robert Mendenhall of Las Vegas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, Utah. A visitation will be held Tuesday, prior to services, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary. Interment will follow at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
