Obituary

St. George, Utah – Kenneth Wayne Mckee, age 91, passed away May 22, 2016.  He was born April 19, 1925 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to George McKee, interred in Carson, Iowa and Lela Ripper Mckee, interred in Carson, Iowa. Kenneth married Bernetta Louise Mckee, interred at Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Missouri.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946 during war time.  Before he retired, he owned and operated a grading/excavation business with his brother, Dennis Mckee, in California. He loved boating and water skiing, and also enjoyed dirt bike riding.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Deanna (Mike) Sudweeks of Hurricane, Utah; three brothers: Ronald Mckee, Gordon Mckee and Dale Mckee; four grandchildren:  Jeff (Becky) Theis, Rachel (David) Wakefield, Jason Sudweeks, Travis (Tessa) Sudweeks; and twelve great grandchildren:  Parker Theis, Alex Sudweeks, Austin Sudweeks, Macy Wakefield, McKayla Wakefield, Emily Sudweeks, Ethan Sudweeks, Bella Sudweeks, Gage Sudweeks, Beau Sudweeks, Gia Sudweeks and Keilani Sudweeks
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rita Theis, three brothers and seven sisters.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon Missouri.
