St. George, Utah / Nampa, Idaho - LaReta L. Hutchison passed away April 9, 2011 in Nampa, Idaho. She was born April 21, 1921 in St. George, Utah to Hazel and Ammon Lake. She married Benjamin W. Hutchison in St. George, Utah on August 10, 1938. LaReta is survived by her children: Ronald (Tina) Hutchison of Utah, Kathy (Dick) Scott of Idaho, Rick (Ruth) Hutchison of Arizona; daughter-in-law, BJ Hutchison of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren with one on the way. She is also survived by her siblings: Merlin Lake of California, LeOra Ricks of Utah and Darryl Lake of Colorado. LaReta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Benjamin; and her son, Garry Hutchison. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be held at the St. George City Cemetery.
