Ivins, Utah - Larry Barnhart left this mortal life on January 24, 2013 to continue his mission that others may complete their family history. He was born July 22, 1940.

Larry is survived by his wife, Dian; children: Randy (Valarie) Barnhart, Kim (Gary) Staack, Richard Barnhart, Rob (Susie) Barnhart, Kelly Deke, Dustin (Jyll) Schwarten, Joshua Schwarten and Adam Schwarten; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce (Jim) Rosenquist and Nancy (Charles) Liess; and nieces and nephews.

Larry is best known for his zest for genealogy. He loved helping others find their ancestors. Larry was recently called to serve at the new Family History Center in St. George. He was very excited to be on staff. His love for family history and life will be missed by many.
