St. George, Utah – Larry Warren Reid, aged 78, peacefully departed on September 11, 2023. Preceding him in death was his sole sibling, a mirror image identical twin, Jerry C. Reid. His parents, Ray L. Reid and Jean Smith Reid, hailed from Utah; a place Larry later called home. Larry was blessed with a family, comprising of six daughters and a son, David Ray Reid, who preceded him in passing.

Larry's career included both long and short hauls as a truck driver, alongside his knack for assembling Harley Motorcycles. Among Larry's cherished pleasures were Dark Chocolate and Chocolate Malts. He harbored an aversion to fear, yet when confronted by it, he would burst into giggles.

Larry belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished his involvement in the Bishopric, where he served as a Ward Clerk for an impressive eight years. Additionally, he dedicated eight more years of his life to volunteering at the Missionary Center.

The Hafen family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful nurses who cared for him during the last years of his life. Larry cared for them dearly. Larry's daughter leaves behind a heartfelt message: "Can't wait to laugh with you once more, Dad, until I see you again."

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, 500 North Main Street, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
