Laura Bell Charlton Ekins
, age 93, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, in St. George, Utah. She was the born June 27, 1923 in Ogden, Utah, the seventh of twelve children to Albert Ray and Maggie Genette Charlton.
She married Delour Ekins on June 23, 1942, during World War II. Together they had four children; daughters: Pam and Lynda; sons: Kevron and Thad, thirteen grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral
services will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. A visitations will be held Tuesday, prior to services, from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 1:01 p.m. in the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California beside her husband.
