Hurricane – Laurel Hepworth Stratton, 89, passed away April 25, 2021. She was born February 1, 1932 in Mt. Carmel, Utah to Sarilla Gifford and Oren Hepworth. She married Neil J. Stratton on December 22, 1953 in Henderson, Nevada. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple. Laurel attended school in Hurricane, Utah.

She is survived by her son, Donald N (Terri) Stratton; daughter, Joyce S. Gorman; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hurricane 10 ^th Ward Chapel, 1178 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. A visitation will be prior to services from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery.
