Laurie Shaw Draper passed away on September 4, 2025, in St. George, Utah. She was born on January 12, 1951 in Salt Lake City Utah. She was known for her strength, her kindness, and the way she cared deeply for others.

Laurie worked as a nurse, both in her career and in her everyday life. She was always looking out for others—family, friends, and the many animals she welcomed into her home. Her compassion knew no bounds.

She faced many health challenges over the years, including cancer, and met each one with courage and grace. Her resilience was an inspiration to those around her.

Laurie is survived by her four children: Matthew, Andrea (Jake), Jason, and Alisha; and by her grandchildren: Logan, Payton, Presley, Marley, Cooper, and Lexy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A viewing and celebration of life will be held at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St George Blvd, on September 9, 2025 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.. All are welcome but not expected.
