Layton spent his first several years in Mesa, Arizona and moved to St. George when he was eight.

He is survived by his parents; three sisters: Christina Hopkins, Sherrice Baker, and Shelby Baker; his grandparents: Layton and Marilyn Baker and Kathy Faulkner, as well as the hundreds of family and friend who will miss him as well. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Faulkner.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. A visitationswill be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to services.  Interment will be in the Tonaquint Cemetery.
