Ivins, Utah
– Leon "Lee" Ott, 85, passed away in at his home in Ivins, Utah. He was born December 28, 1932 in Green Bay, WI. He married Myrtle "Myrt" Huntington in 1952. Together they had two children, Allen and Lou Ann.
He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He made his living as a Master Plumber, sometimes working odd hours and out of town to provide for the family he loved.
Twenty-two years ago he retired to Ivins, UT and had a real fascination with desert flora and the mountains.
He loved the Green Bay Packers, to travel (visiting all but three states), jigsaw puzzles, ice cream, and anything sweet, "putzing" around his property, helping friends, strangers and most of all, he loved his family. He was the volunteer "King".
Lee is survived by his wife, Myrt of 65 years; son, Allen, daughter, Lou Ann (Patrick) O'Malley and brother, Howard. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the court yard of the Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 920 West Tonaquint Drive, St. George, Utah.
