Obituary

St. George, Utah - Lillian "Fae" Reigle, 89, went to the Lord on March 21, 2014. She was born on November 13, 1924 to Jesse and Helen Endicott. She married Wesley James Reigle July 15, 1946 at the First Congregational Church in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She spent 20 years in the Girl Scout program and 20 years teaching Sunday School. She taught school in the Embassy schools in Taipei, Taiwan and taught in the government schools in the Philippines while her husband was in the U.S. Air Force. She taught for 11 years at the Holladay United Church of Christ pre-school in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved children.

She was on the LaVerkin City Council for 6 years, chairperson of the Beautification Committee and in charge of parks and recreation.

She was active in the I.C.L. (Institute of Continuing Learning) at Dixie College, serving as Treasurer and President. She enjoyed traveling, playing golf and fishing. Later in life she devoted much of her time volunteering whenever and wherever she could. As long as she was active she was happy.

She is survived by her two daughters: Peggy (John) Russell of Bozeman, MT; Pam (Dan) Estep of Kingman, AZ; sister: Donna Kastler of St. George, UT; grandchildren: Nikki Metcalf, Wanda Richardson, and Darrin Estep; and great-grandchildren Kate and Lauren.

A memorial service with the scattering of her ashes will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 611 North 2450 East, St. George, Utah. Arrangements are entrusted to Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
