Linda Bethe Orms Law, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Hurricane, Utah, just days after celebrating her birthday.
Linda was born April 25, 1937, in Globe, Arizona, to Stuart Orms and Beth Phillips Orms. She was the eldest of three children and grew up alongside her brothers, Robert Orms and J. Kenneth Orms.
She was raised in Globe and graduated from Globe High School before moving to Tucson, Arizona. It was there that she met the love of her life, Richard O. Law. Following a brief courtship, they were married on November 25, 1956, at the University of Arizona LDS Institute.
Together, Linda and Richard built a life centered on faith, family, and adventure. As a proud Air Force family, they moved frequently, living in nine states and four countries. Linda embraced the opportunities of military life and developed a deep love for travel and new experiences. Wherever she lived, she created a warm and welcoming home for her family.
Linda was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings throughout her life, including Relief Society President and Primary President. Her testimony, compassion and dedication to service were evident to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Bradley Lee Law; and her brother, J Kenneth Orms.
Linda is survived by her eternal sweetheart, Richard O. Law; her brother, Robert Orms; her children: Corri Law Palmer (Mike), Kevin Law (Deanna), Richard G. Law (Marci) and Casey Law (Kevin). She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Codi Galloway, Patrick, Scott, Cade and Travis Palmer, Karissa Winn, Kassidy Rindlisbacher, Kalli Baker, Kelsi Miller, Madison Nelson, and Brady Law; and 23 great-grandchildren, with one more soon to arrive.
Linda will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love of family, her adventurous spirit and the kindness she extended to all. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the St. George City Cemetery, 650 East Tabernacle St., St. George, Utah.
