Obituary

LaVerkin, Utah - Lindsay was born on December 20, 1954, to Clara Patsy "Pat" & Arlen "Bob" W. Fausett in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1973 and his love story with Kim began when she asked for a ride on the back of his motorcycle. They were then married on June 29, 1974. They had two children, Clint & Emily. They spent their life together on the farm, collecting western antiques, visiting yard sales, doing projects, and being indescribably proud of their offspring. Lindsay simply lived to love Kim. When she passed away in 2019, a piece of him did as well. Lindsay was a Union plumber in both Utah & Nevada for over 40 years. He always felt blessed to work for wonderful companies such as Williams Plumbing & MMC (formerly Pahor) Mechanical.

There was nothing that he couldn't fix, he was extremely skilled and talented. Lindsay and his brothers built the dream home that he and Kim have resided in all these years. He loved a good documentary, and a cold soda pop. And he sure loved being Papa, he cried when he became a Great-Papa and never stopped joking that one of those babies be named Lindsay. Lindsay felt joy from giving to others. He loved to offer a helping hand in any way, whether it be lending a tool, a tractor, or pulling out his checkbook. He didn't think twice when it came to giving & was truly one of the most selfless men we know.

His final act of giving was that of organ donation, a cause that was very close to his heart. Organ donation saved the love of his life more than once, and he made it known how important it was for him to be able to give back to someone else in the same way. The greatest gift he could have given, life.

He was truly happiest just having a good conversation with those he loved. And if he loved you, you knew.

We will miss our Dad, Papa, Brother, Uncle & Friend. But we can only imagine the joyous reunion he's sharing with our Mother and Nana. We are sure they're already laughing together. We feel peace in knowing that he has been called home, by many of our angels. He has left a legacy and we hope to see his legacy live on in us, through the farm, and through having all of you as our friends.

Lindsay is preceded in death by his mother, Pat; father, Bob; mother and father-in-law, Marjorie and Jake; niece, Katherine Kelley; his loving wife, Kimberly Elizabeth; and others. He is survived by his son, Clinton Lindsay (Kelly) Fausett; daughter, Emily Elizabeth (Greg) Garcia; grandchildren: Makaylee (Traycen) Shamo, Jacey & Oaklie Fausett, Jace & Ashland Beach; and newest grandchildren: Oliver, Sophia, Lily & Daniel Garcia; great grand babies: Ireland & Archer Shamo; and all of his brothers and sisters: Linda (Dean) Kelley, Susan (Terry) Warner, Richard (Shirley) Fausett, Jeff (Roxanne) Fausett, Gayle Fausett, Bonnie (Fred) Rose, Jack (Souci) Pyper, Linda (Tom) Corneluis, Alice (Mike) Ellison, David (Debbie) Pyper.
