St George, Utah – Lois Vincent Knight, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home on May 13, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 27, 1932 in Sandy, Utah to Ross Tyler and Naomi Vincent. She was married February 9, 1950 to her High School sweetheart, Rolland H. Knight and later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Lois was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served three missions with her loving companion. Retired from First Security Bank. She was a loving wife and mother of six children, her family always came first. Our Mom was courageous, patient, never complained, loved unconditionally and was kind to all. She had a passion for Family History; she loved traveling, watching movies with popcorn, and her electronic gadgets.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Rolland H. Knight; six children: Sandra (Jay) Frischknecht, Diane Knight Veltri, Bradley (Paula) Knight, Brent (Diana) Knight, V. Blair (Wanda) Knight, and Connie Lois Knight; 31 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her sisters, Janet Aston and Carol McOmie.

Thanks to all for the many acts of kindness during Mom's time of need. Including the loving care provided by her friends at Home Instead and Dixie Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Foremaster Ridge LDS Ward Chapel, 912 South 1740 East, St. George, Utah.  Visitations will held Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery.
