Enterprise, Utah - Lola Jean Wagstaff Evans, Our Sweet Mother, passed away May 4, 2011 in St. George, Utah surrounded by her family. She was born May 21, 1932 to Arthur Leon & Ladocia Mayberry Wagstaff in American Fork, Utah. She married Gayle Wells Evans on December 27, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple. They are the parents of six children, 29 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. Lola loved raising and nurturing her family, enjoying her friendships, and serving in many Stake and Ward callings. She and Dad raised their family in Park City, Utah. In 1990, they moved to Enterprise, Utah where they have enjoyed living, serving, and establishing many dear friendships. She was a wonderful example to her children of sacrifice and service and knowledge of heaven's loving care. She is survived by her husband, Gayle; her children: Susanne (Milo) Lefler of Midvale, Utah, Donald R. of Reno, Nevada, Mark G.(Tamie) of Enterprise, Utah, Christine (Mark) Briggs of Bountiful, Utah, Scott G. (Robin) of Wellsville, Utah, and Margie (Jonathan) Smith of Murray, Utah. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, 80 South Center Street, Enterprise, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. ,with a visitation prior from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the American Fork LDS Chapel located at 165 North 350 West.
