St. George, Utah - Lolen David East passed away March 20, 2011. He was born June 30, 1927, in Manila, Arkansas, the oldest of ten children born to Eaveret Benton East and Wilma Inez Hill East. Lolen is survived by his wife, Jeanne; sons: Gary (Pat) East, Franklin (Mary) East, and David (Kathy) East; daughter, Rita (Glenn) Wennberg; nine grandchildren: Traci Estelle East, Benjamin David East, Jade Eric East, Cole Everett East, Levi Douglas East, Sabrina East, Noah Christopher Campana, Trevor Wennberg and Jared Wennberg; and his siblings: Thomas Eugene East, Shadie Devon East, Kurtis Amos East, Ruby Regina East and Alvin Samuel East. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings: Elmore Rudolph East, Naomi East, Eaveret Billy Joe East and Betty Inez East. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Mortuary, prior to services. Interment will be Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Richfield City Cemetery.
