Hurricane, UT - Lora Louise Olson, age 69, passed away on October 10, 2013 in St. George, Utah. She was born November 5, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ben Treloar and Lorean Holcom. She married Duaine R. Olson in Cheyenne, Wyoming on August 29, 1969.

Lora was raised, and spent most of her life in, Tooele, where she and Duaine raised their family. She began working outside the home in order to make ends meet following a crippling injury to her husband. She was a factory worker for 29 years, finally retiring and settling in Hurricane, Utah with her beloved Duaine. In addition to her family, she loved her Primary children, her dogs, and her neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her husband Duaine, and is survived by her three sons: William & Sherri Olson of Chaska, MN, Robert Olson currently of Hurricane, UT, and Ben Olson of Branson, MO, as well as her sole surviving sister, Frances Devore of Las Vegas Nevada. She has three grand children: Joshua Duaine, Connor Michael, and Landon McKay Olson.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf-Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, UT. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to services at the mortuary. A second visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, at 10:00 a.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, UT.
