St. George, Ut. Madeline Eliza Hatton, age 95, passed away August 15, 2011 in St. George, Utah. She was born on July 26, 1916 in Fillmore, Utah to Elmer Clark and Hazel Wright Hatton. Madeline is survived by her children: Garey Newitt and Linda Gardner; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday August 18, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. St. George, Utah. Graveside services will be held in Afton, Wyoming on Saturday, August 20, 2011. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
