Washington, UT - Malin Adams Iverson, 89, passed away January 2, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 9, 1922 in Washington, Utah to Wallace Joseph and Dina Adams Iverson. He married Nada Hardy and together they raised five children. They later divorced and he married Judith Tait who also had five children from her first marriage. They later had two daughters of their own making a total of 12 children in all. Malin was born and raised most of his life in Washington, Utah where he worked his entire life farming, ranching, and concrete work. He attended school in Washington, and then in the Old Woodward Building in St. George, through the 10th grade. At the age of 20 he received his draft notice to serve in the military where he was assigned to the Air Force. After an honorary discharge he returned home and went back to farming and start a family. One of his most fulfilling job opportunities and accomplishments was being the Concrete Foreman for the Seward Company, putting up the towers for the new power line between Page, Arizona and Boulder City, Nevada. He was also involved with the building of The Washington Canal and many of the concrete irrigation ditches in the Washington County area. He loved his life, his work, his farm and animals, and all he did. He was a hard worker and proud of his work always doing his best. He honestly loved work. He was blessed with strength and good health to carry out his chores and thankful for it. Later in life he put all his energy into farming, ranching, and building a new cabin at Pinto. He enjoyed the outdoors, watching wildlife, and sharing those things with his wife and grandchildren. When his health started to decline, he never complained, he accepted each trial with dignity and patience. We will miss being in his presence, but he will influence our lives forever. Malin is survived by his wife Judith Iverson, children: M. Jay (Donna) Iverson, Ralph M.(Julia) Iverson, Donald H. Iverson, Elaine (Craig) Cooper, Douglas L. (Barbara) Iverson, Cherisse Iverson, D.
