St. George, Utah - Marcell G. Tibbitts, age 83, passed away November 29, 2012, at his home. He was born April 1, 1929, in Providence, Utah to Elmer and Lena Tibbitts. He graduated from South Cache High School and attended Utah State University. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family on vacations and camping in the Uintah Mountains and Jackson Hole area. He retired as a civil servant from Hill Air Force Base and he and his wife relocated from Logan, Utah, to St. George, Utah.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeannine G. Tibbitts; his daughter, MarJean (Scott) Stein of South Jordan, Utah; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Stanley; his parents; two sisters; and one brother.

Graveside services were held Saturday, December 8, 2012 in Providence, Utah. A special thanks to Southern Utah Home Health Care and Hospice for their kind and loving care given to Marcell during his illness. Very special thanks to Bob, Janice, and Ginger.
