St. George, Utah - Margaret Teresa Curran (née Miley) passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2023.  Margaret was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and met her husband Cyril from Sligo, Ireland.  Following their marriage in Northern Ireland they traveled to Canada where they spent three years living in Vancouver.  They made their way to California where they raised their daughter and son and eventually retired to Saint George, Utah.

Margaret was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  A devout Catholic, Saint George Catholic Church was an important part of Margaret's life, and she spent many hours helping as a Eucharistic minister both in the church and bringing communion to the sick as well as taking care of the altar cloths and helping with the seasonal decorations of the church.  For many years, Margaret enjoyed playing golf with friends and family.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Catherine Miley; and her sisters: Bridget, Kathleen, and Elizabeth.  She is survived by her brother, Tommy; sister, Jean; husband, Cyril whom she was married to for 58 years; children: Patricia (Steve) and Jeff (Samantha); and grandchildren: Erika, Krista, Rachel and Shawn, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass and rosary will be on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saint George Catholic Church located at 259 West 200 North.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions to be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
