St. George, Utah - Margarete "Greta" Sophia Dobrovolny, 93, was taken back to her loving Father in Heaven January 10, 2019.

Greta was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on April 19, 1925 to Fredrick and Elizabeth Richter. She married the love of her life, Anton David Dobrovolny on November 5, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas.

Greta loved teaching and learning. She taught math for over 20 years. She also enjoyed cooking, knitting and spending time with those she called family and friends.

Greta is survived by her sons: Michael J. Dobrovolny and Lee Dobrovolny; along with many family members in Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and a son.
