Obituary

Colorado Spring, Colorado – Margie May Siebert, 89, passed away on August 6, 2017, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born March 31, 1928, in Labelle, Idaho to Frank Royal and Marie Lundquist.

After graduating from Rigby High School, Margie received her Associate Business degree from Henager Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Margie and her husband, Glenn, moved to St. George in 1970, where she was office manager for Scurr, Messenger and Associates.

Margie received her real estate license in 1973, her Utah Brokers license in 1985.  She worked for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Company until 1989.  Then she obtained her Nevada Brokers license in 1988.  She worked between Mansell and Associates in St. George and Desert Valley Realty in Mesquite, Nevada.  She was honored by local board as "Realtor of the Year" in 1983, and was chosen by the Women's Council of Realtors as the "Woman of the Year."

Margie was an inspiration to her family and friends because of her positive attitude, beautiful smile, encouragement, and uplifting stories. In 2004, she composed a family genealogy book, "Our Family:  Descendants of Frank Royal Lundquist and Marie Edith Moses."  She also wrote her "Autobiography of Margie May Lundquist."

An active member of the LDS Church, she served in the St. George Utah Temple for 17 years.  Beginning in 1993, she also taught the Merrie Miss Activities, which was a most enjoyable calling.  She wrote, 'I have many rich memories of the times I spent with these girls, and would not have given up any one of our activities."

She was dearly loved by all of her family and friends, and her reunion in heaven is joyously celebrated.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. Her nephew, Kurt Lundquist, will officiate.
