St. George, UT - Marguerite Sandstrom Adams was born September 11, 1936 to Alonzo August and VeRue Tullis Sandstrom. She was the oldest of five children: David, John, Jerald, and Charlene. Marguerite grew up in Eureka, Utah and graduated with the title of Valedictorian from Eureka High School. She married Vee Moroni Adams November 5, 1954, although they later divorced. They were blessed with five children: Alonzo Vee (Hiroko) Adams, Vicki (Carlos) Ramirez, Patty (Von) Hansen, Julie (John) Howells, and Robert (Raquel) Adams. Marguerite struggled with her health through most of her adult life. Yet despite these health problems, she was an accomplished candymaker, seamstress and cook.
