IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marilee Moosman
Marsh
July 11, 1948 – November 22, 2021
St. George, UT – Marilee Marsh, passed away in her home on November 22, 2021, after losing a battle with cancer at the age of 73.
Marilee was born on July 11, 1948, to Preston and Erma Moosman in Salina, Utah. She graduated from Wayne High School in 1966 and went on to earn an Associate of Business degree from the College of Southern Utah. She married Gibb Marsh on June 15, 1973.
She did many things in her life. When mortgage interest rates were high in the 80's she babysat in her home. Later she worked as a secretary first for the school district and then for the church. She was a great cook and baker – there was always a homemade treat in the kitchen. She loved to sew, crochet, read and paint. She donated a lot of her projects to Primary Children's Hospital.
Marilee and Gibb retired to St. George in 2013 and enjoyed every minute of it.
Marilee is survived by her children: Melissa (Ryan) Park, Michelle (Grant) Hagenno, Kevin Marsh and David Marsh; three grandchildren: Kasey Park, Makenzie Forsyth (Bladen) and Dylan Orton; and her siblings: Roger (Terry), George (Leslie), Jerry (Anna), Gaylene (Kay), Carol (Dennis), Lamont "Butch", Keith (Carol), David (Tonya), and Penny. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gibb; and granddaughter Kylie.
The family would like to thank Canyon Homecare and Hospice and the private nurses for the excellent care she received.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at the Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
