St. George, Utah – On September 19, 2024, Marilyn Orlossy (born to John Fredrick Christensen and Violet Christensen) was called back to our Heavenly Father. She was with us for 95 years, but it wasn't nearly long enough. It is difficult to express the warmth and love this beautiful, feisty lady gave to not only her family but everyone she met. She would never turn away a person in need and always had a genuine smile on her face and a kind word to say. She was an extremely loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and would never pass up an opportunity to blow a kiss to her husband across the room or hug her children and tell them she loved them. All the lives she touched are forever blessed.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, George; her six children: Bill, Bob, Sandra, Pamela, Christina and Jennifer; 26 grandkids; as well as 41 great-grandkids and 7 great-great-grandkids. The world will not be the same without her.

A visitation will be held in St. George, Utah on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary located at 288 West St. George Blvd.

Graveside services will be held in Ogden, Utah on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.
