- Marjorie Pearl Bush Engstrum, 90, passed away January 9, 2019. She was born March 2, 1928 in Bogota, New Jersey. She was raised in New Jersey and then retired to Hurricane, Utah in 1988 with her beloved companion, Donald Joseph Engstrum.
Marjorie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a firm testimony of Jesus Christ. She faithfully served in many callings, including a mission with her eternal companion in the Mississippi Jackson Mission and in the St. George Temple. Marjorie was known for her warm personality and beautiful smile. She was an amazing example to her children. Her life was about loving her family and loving the Lord.
She is survived by her children: Barbara (Joe) Barry, Diane (David) Irwin, Donna (David) Jayme, Lisa Engstrum and Douglas Engstrum; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Willoughby Bush, Sr. and Berdie Dell Bush; siblings: John Willoughby Bush, Jr., Leonard Jerome Bush and Virginia Helferich.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 272 South 700 West, Hurricane, Utah. Visitations will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street and Monday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery.
